Who’s Missing In Your Area?
Media for the Missing is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to increasing awareness for missing and unidentified loved ones.
The question is simple but urgent: How can anyone be aware… if they are not made aware?
We aim to keep missing person’s faces, names, and stories continuously visible through multiple high‑visibility media methods, including a centralized livestream platform.
My introduction to the world of the missing began with a single search — an update on one case. What I found stunned me. So many people were missing. So few were being talked about.
I kept asking myself: Why haven’t I heard about these cases… Why didn’t I know five people were missing in my own area… Who decides which cases get attention… WHY, WHO, and HOW?
As I explored the different ways missing‑person information was being shared, I felt a deep pull to create something more visual, more constant, and more accessible — something that didn’t depend on a viewer’s location or luck. After a lot of prayer and reflection, the idea took shape: a single hub capable of displaying multiple, highly visible streams of information at once.
That vision became Media for the Missing.
